Sarah offers flexible sewing and pattern making classes that allow you to follow your own learning plan. The studio is fully equipped with domestic sewing machines and overlockers for you to use. If you are a beginner, everything you need to do the beginner sewing exercises is supplied. You may want to buy a binder and plastic sleeves to create your own reference folder. For individual projects you will need to provide patterns if needed, fabrics, trims and matching thread. Sarah can help you choose these if required. ​ All classes are held in the Sew Like Sarah studio in Tarragindi just off the freeway. ************************************************************************************************* Sarah Kent has had well over twenty years experience, both working and teaching, in the fashion industry. She is, primarily, an accomplished pattern maker, but has also worked in fashion design, product development, dance and theatre costuming, made-to-measure wear and protective clothing. ​ As a teacher at TAFE, she specialised in pattern making, grading, garment construction and textiles. Teaching is her passion and the Sew Like Sarah studio is now experiencing its 9th year of operation.
